Both incidents occurred in Tullamore yesterday evening.
A man in his 30's has been arrested for public disorder and for attempting to break into a vehicle.
The incident occurred while a van was in traffic on Patrick Street in Tullamore yesterday evening.
After trying to enter the passenger side of the van with a bottle of alcohol in hand, he walked around the van before staring in at the driver through the passenger side.
He was later arrested for a separate incident in the town which he attempted to start fights with a group of young men, and was recognised because of the bottle of alcohol he was holding.
He's due to appear in Tullamore District Court today.
