A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash in the midlands.
A pedestrian, in his 20s, was struck by a car just after 8pm last night on the Arden Road in Tullamore.
He was removed from the scene via ambulance, and was taken to hospital for treatment of what’s believed to be serious injuries.
The driver of the car, a man in his 40s, was also taken to hospital for assessment.
Gardaí say the scene is currently preserved for examinations and they’re waiting for a full report to be carried out.
Investigations are ongoing.
