A man is in critical condition following a crash in Westmeath this morning.
The single vehicle collision happened on the N4 at Clonhugh near Multyfarnham, at around 7:15am this morning.
Both occupants were taken to Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar, where the male passenger was transfered to Beaumont Hospital and the female driver has since been discharged.
The road was closed for a technical examination but has since been reopened.
