He was the only student in his year to continue pursing art after the Junior Cert.
A midlands artist says he got a 'little emotional' after being hand-delivered a card from his former school.
Tullamore's Shane Gillen took to Twitter to share a snap of the card, which was signed by teachers and Leaving Cert students from Coláiste Choilm.
He was the only student in his year to continue pursuing art after completing the Junior Cert, and is thanking the school for allowing him to be taught in the subject.
Mr. Gillen also took the opportunity to share his result in Leaving Cert Art, which was an A1, if you were curious.
A little emotional over this one. Teachers from my former secondary school in Tullamore sent me up a card and also had their current Leaving Cert Art students come up today to see the exhibition. After Junior Cert, I was the ONLY student who chose Art for the Leaving Cert. pic.twitter.com/8VSFqCT7cp
