A midlands animal charity is rescuing dogs from Ukraine.
Andy Cullen, who runs Husky Rescue Ireland in Cullohill, travelled over with pet food and supplies last week.
He can bring 15 dogs at a time across the border to Poland.
On his return journeys, he's loading the van with pet food and other items local people need.
Mr. Cullen says they are under pressure, but the people there are so grateful for their efforts:
Wheelbarrows and gas cannisters for camping stoves are among the items people in the Ukraine are looking for.
