The amount of people turning to a midlands credit union for a mortgage has seen a substantial increase in recent years.
It comes as businesses affiliated with the Irish League of Credit Unions, have seen the highest level of lending in nearly a decade and a half.
Manager of the North Midlands Credit Union, Tom Allen, says various surveys have shown the organisation has grown in membership and have many positive reviews in how they treat customers.
