The Irish Dental Association is seeking 20% tax relief for fillings, extractions and dentures for patients.

Dentists are looking to close the affordability gap between private and public dental patients.

The Irish Dental Association is seeking 20% tax relief for fillings, extractions and dentures for patients in Budget 2026.

They feel that it would improve access to preventative dental care, and make Ireland a more attractive place for dentistry students.
