Tullamore recorded the highest number of its inpatient on waiting lists.
Over 35,200 Midlands patients were on hospital waiting lists last month.
Latest figures from the National Treatment Purchase Fund shows Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore had 2,577 people on its inpatient waiting list in March.
Just under 480 patients were listed for Mullingar and just over 300 in Portlaoise were waiting on general surgery appointments for at least six months.
Tullamore also recorded the highest number of outpatients at 11,300, with over 600 on the orthopedics list.
Around 3,000 people are listed for gynecology appointments in Portlaoise, and around 5,400 patients in Mullingar are waiting on general medicine.
