Midlands House Price Growth Expected To Slow

The Real Estate Alliance is predicting good news for homebuyers in 2023, following a year of major price increases in 2022.

The rate of house price growth in the midlands is expected to slow significantly this year.

The Real Estate Alliance is predicting more stability in 2023, following a year of major price increases in 2022.

The current €260,000 value of a home in Westmeath is expected to remain for the majority of this year.

That figure is €215,000 in Offaly, and the REA is also predicting that number to stay stagnant.

The picture in Laois is slightly different however, as the agency is expecting a further five percent rise in house prices from the current value of €255,000.
