The incident took place on the Convent Road in Longford yesterday evening.
The young man who died after being hit by a bus in Co Longford yesterday has been named locally.
19 year old Martin McDonnell died after he was hit by a bus on the Convent Rd after 6 o’clock yesterday evening.
A post mortem on his body will take place in Mullingar Regional Hospital later today and a forensic examination of the scene is ongoing.
