The Laois Roads Policing Unit was on patrol in Borris in Ossory last night, when they stopped the vehicle.
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system showed the vehicle had no insurance or NCT.
Officers checked the driver's licence on the Garda Mobility App and it showed the driver was disqualified from driving.
They were arrested and charged to appear before Portlaoise District Court.
