A Westmeath historian is asking people to fill in their time capsules in as much detail as possible.
Ireland needs to refill its archive of social and cultural population data.
That's according to Westmeath historian Jason McKevitt, who is asking people to complete the time capsule section on the 2022 Census forms with as much detail as possible.
The data will be uploaded digitally in addition to physical copies to prevent future loss.
Mr. McKevitt says a lot of information from the past has been lost:
