Midlands Red Cross Calling For Volunteers Across The Region

The charity is recruiting for 60 volunteer positions across Laois, Offaly and Westmeath.

The Red Cross is issuing an urgent call for volunteers to join their teams in the midlands.

The charity, which provides emergency care and ambulance services to local communities, is recruiting for 60 volunteer positions across Laois, Offaly and Westmeath.

Since the start of the pandemic, the organisation has seen a 7,500% increase in demand for their assistance.

Secretary General Liam O’Dwyer outlines some of the duties required of those who sign up:
