The figures are for the first quarter of 2025.
The average rent price in the Midlands now stands at around €1,541.
The latest figures from the Daft.ie Rent Price Report for the first quarter of 2025 shows Offaly has the biggest increase from last quarter of 5.7%.
€1,542 euros is now the average rent in the county, while in Laois it stands at just under €1,600 - a change of 4.4% from the last quarter.
In Westmeath, renting a property now sets you back by €1,683, the smallest change of 3.7%.
It's despite a 5.2% increase in the cost of renting a home in the region over the course of the last 12 months.
