There's been an 8% drop in the number of people signing on in September.
Just under 9,800 people were signed on to the Live Register last month, according to new figures from the CSO.
All three counties have fallen below 4,000 with just over 3,600 in Westmeath, almost 3,150 in Laois and the lowest amount in Offaly at 3,036.
Nationally, there's been a drop of over 2,000 people on the Live Register when compared to the month prior, bringing the total figure to 166,800.
