Midlands Services Under Threat As Bus Eireann Looks To Cut Express Routes

The National Bus and Rail Union says its been assured there will be no job losses.

Bus Eireann is looking at cutting a number of its inter-city routes due to the financial impact of Covid-19.

The services under threat are the Dublin routes to Limerick which stops in Portlaoise and Roscrea, Galway - which serves Athlone and Cork.

Its General Secretary is Dermot O'Leary - he says its down to politicians to fight for their local bus service:
