The party also wants a minister appointed to oversee the process.
Aontú is calling for a multi-billion euro bailout for small and medium sized businesses.
Party leader and Meath West TD Peadar Tóibín also wants the appointment of a temporary minister for the duration of the covid-19 pandemic to oversee the process.
Under the terms of any such bailout, businesses would only be allowed to draw from the fund to be re-imbursed for unrecoverable costs such as rent, rates or utilities owed during the period of lockdown.
Also, the possibility of the government taking an equity share in larger companies that wish to avail of the scheme.
Deputy Tóibín says he wouldn't be concerned about business owners trying to exploit the idea to cover outstanding debts:
