The Department of Integration says it's received an accommodation offer for the use of the old shoe factory on Saint Mary's Street in Edenderry.
The property is currently being refurbished, and is expected to be in use by December of this year, but the Department says that time-frame will become clearer as the works progress.
Between Ukrainian refugees and International Protection Applicants, Ireland is now accommodating nearly 100 thousand people, an increase of almost 90 thousand compared to February of last year.
