Minimum Wage Could Increase To €14

Enterprise Minister and Longford-Westmeath TD Peter Burke could raise the wage by 55 cent.

Workers across the Midlands could be set to see the minimum wage increase up to €14.

The Irish Independent is reporting that the Low Pay Commission wants an increase of 4.5 to 5% to the current rate for Budget 2026.

This would mean an increase of 65 cent, while Enterprise Minister and Longford-Westmeath TD Peter Burke is expected to go for a 55 cent hike.
