The project plans on delivering 26 turbines to Ballivor Bog.
Plans for a new windfarm in the midlands are being defended by a councillor.
The development would see 26 turbines erected on Ballivor Bog - 16 of which would be on the Westmeath side, with the remaining 10 in Meath.
Fine Gael councillor Frank McDermott says he's 'absolutely and totally in favour of renewable energy so long as it complies with the law.'
But, he did raise some concerns with the development:
