Tommy passed away in March.
Over €8,000 has been raised for Offaly Hospice as part of a fundraiser in memory of a Tullamore man.
Tommy Godley passed away in March of this year.
Almost 40 people climbed Carrauntoohil on Saturday in honour of Mr. Godley, who enjoyed making the climb regularly.
Those who attended battled strong winds and some spells of heavy rain throughout the ascent.
Donations can still be made to the online fundraiser, which has already gathered €8,612
