Mullingar Regional Hospital Set To Get Significant Upgrade

The project remains subject to planning permission.

A new out-patient department could soon be built at Mullingar Regional Hospital.

However, it is subject to planning permission from Westmeath County Council.

The new two-storey building would be almost 1,800 square metres in size and contain medical consulting rooms and admin offices.

It's also planned to install solar panels on the roof.

A decision on the project is due in April
