The Ploughing returns to the midlands this September
Preparations for this year's National Ploughing Championships are well underway.
The 'majority' of the exhibitions have already been booked for the three-day event, which returns to Ratheniska on September 19th.
The National Ploughing Association says it's also looking at adjusting travel routes where traffic disruptions were an issue during the event last year.
Its Assistant Managing Director, Anna Marie McHugh, says the intense on-site work will begin in the middle of next month:
