Nearly A Fifth Of People Lie On Their CV

18-24 year-olds are the most common culprits, according to a survey in the UK.

Just under a fifth of people have claimed to have lied on their CV - or they know someone who has.

A study from a UK fraud prevention service found 19 per cent of people have told a fib on their CV in the past year, compared to 17 per cent the previous year.

Nearly 38 per cent of 18 to 24 year olds admitted to lying or knowing someone who had, along with three in ten of those aged 35 to 44.
