A decision is due in January.
Fresh plans have been submitted to build 46 houses in a Laois village.
Applicant Liam Kelly is seeking to build 40 semi-detached 3 bedroom houses and 6 detached 3 bedroom bungalows in Ballylinan.
Other works include seeking permission to fill an existing nearby quarry to serve as a recreational area for the housing development.
Mr Kelly previously applied alongside Sammy Kelly Builders in the same area for 34 houses in March 2024 before withdrawing that application last April.
Laois County Council is due to make a decision on January 22nd.
