Plans are in place for a new 'high quality' cafe for a Westmeath town.
Tiane Limited wants to build two 20 foot modular units at the Diskin Centre, Golden Island in Athlone.
The plans include the development of a coffee and food preparation area, customer seating area, and accessible toilet facilities.
There is also a proposal which includes a takeaway collection point for customers, as well as all associated works including access roads, car parking, bin storage, signage and landscaping.
A decision is due from Westmeath County Council on June 29th.
