A new support service has been set up in the midlands, for women faced with an unplanned pregnancy.
The Offaly Practical Link Centre is affiliated with Gianna Care, non profit organisation, that provides practical help and counselling to expectant parents, based in Dublin, Galway and Kerry.
One volunteer, Corrinne Claffey, says this new group has been set up to offer practical support in the midlands region - by delivering everything from cots and car seats to clothing and nappies directly to the homes of women in need.
