Three night-time Local Link services are to be made permanent in Laois and Offaly.
The bus routes had been operation on a pilot evening basis, between 6 and 11pm typically on Friday and Saturdays.
A performance review found the Mountrath/Castletown/Ballyfin evening service had an average of 67 passengers per week; that was 38 passengers for Emo and surrounds; with an average of 37 weekly passengers for the Kinnitty area.
