No face masks will be allowed during this year's Leaving Cert oral exams.
According to The Irish Times, perspex screens will be used instead to ensure safety and clear communication.
The orals are set to take place soon, with teachers carrying out exams and forwarding audio recordings to the State Examinations Commission for marking.
