An Offaly Medical Packaging company is confirming redundancies are on the way.
Nelipak in Clara say they're pursuing "an operational restructuring program" which will result in the loss of jobs.
The company decision is in response to expectations for customer demand in 2025.
Up 40 redundancies are expected, with SIPTU saying their members have been told to decide whether or not to leave their roles on a voluntary basis by this Friday.
