An Offaly councillor says €20 million for a new energy efficiency scheme for the midlands is a "joke".
Kilcormac's John Leahy says when you break down the money, only 400 social houses out of 12,000 will benefit from the project.
It follows the Finance Minister's announcement yesterday that over €30 million is being used to offset the decline of Bord na Móna here in the midlands.
