Plans for a new pitch and two new viewing stands at an Offaly GAA Club are in the works.
The planned project at the Daingean GAA Club site involves constructing a new 145m x 90m sports pitch and installing eight floodlights in the northwest area of the grounds.
The planning application submitted to Offaly County Council also includes a viewing stand for the new sports pitch, which will feature a toilet block and a storage area.
A decision on the application is due to be made by February 20th.
