Offaly GAA says the decision not to use The Faithful Fields as a mass covid vaccination centre is disappointing.
The GAA Centre of Excellence had been earmarked for use by the HSE last month.
However, the Tullamore Court Hotel has been chosen instead - and will be used for vaccinating the general population, along with the Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise, the Bloomfield House Hotel in Mullingar, and the Athlone IT Convention Centre.
