Gardaí are investigating two burglaries in Offaly in the last 24 hours.
€3,000 worth of property was stolen from a house in the Castlewood Cottages, Geashill area around midday yesterday.
While a house in Norbury Woods in Tullamore was targeted at about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
Nothing was taken but damage was done to the back door.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in those areas yesterday is asked to contact gardaí.
