Concerns about a potential closure were raised earlier this week.
Cloghan Health Centre will remain open, according to the HSE.
Laois-Offaly TD Barry Cowen had raised concerns earlier this week that the service was going to be relocated to Banagher Primary Care Centre.

The centre currently provides for 188 patients in the West Offaly area.
