A free summer health and wellbeing event for midlands active retirement groups is taking place today in Offaly.
The Midlands Region committee of Active Retirement Ireland is hosting the Dovida sponsored event, with the theme this year being "To Live Better And Live Longer At Home".
Twenty exhibition stands from the likes Age Friendly Healthy Homes and the Midlands Participation Network will be present.
Speakers from the Integrated Care Programme for Older People, Creative Ireland and Local Link managers will also be holding talks and panel discussions.
It takes place at the Tullamore Court Hotel from 9:30am until 3:30pm today.
