That's among the findings of new figures from the Department of Housing.
Offaly saw the lowest number of vacant homes brought back on stream in the country last year.
Figures from the Department of Housing show the Voids Programme saw 18 vacant houses brought back into use in the county.
That figure is 48 in Laois, and 49 in Westmeath.
Local authorities around the country saw over two thousand vacant homes brought back on stream in 2023, with a funding total of 46 million euro.
Housing Minister Darragh O'Brien says the scheme prevents the decline and abandonment of derelict properties, which, in some instances, can lead to antisocial behaviour.
