Offaly TD Calls For Overhaul Of IPAS Centres After Dublin Protests

Violent protests took place outside a centre in Dublin last night.

An Offaly TD is calling for a complete overhaul of the IPAS system.

Independent rep Carol Nolan feels it's being exploited for profit.

She also feels that a more hard line approach is needed, and is calling for more the immediate deportation of anyone who's application for asylum has been rejected.

It follows a violent protest outside a centre in Dublin last night, following the alleged rape of a ten year old girl near the premises
