It's limited to those whose test was booked before the service was suspended.
One NCT centre in the midlands is re-opening its doors this morning.
The National Car Test service has announced its branches will re-open on a phased basis - starting with Athlone and 14 others today.
However, they're only open to customers whose vehicles were booked in for a test prior to March 28th - the day the service was suspended due to covid-19 - and those affected by faulty vehicle lifts.
The NCTS says detailed measures are in place to defend against covid-19, and it intends to re-open the remaining centres during June and July.
