A new poll that ranks Micheál Martin as the joint most popular political party leader in country is likely down to easing of covid restrictions.

The Laois branch of Ógra Fianna Fáil says its the third consecutive Behaviour and Attidutes survey to record a rise in support for the party.

The Taoiseach and Sinn Féin president now both stand at 51 per cent, up three and two points respectively.
