Despite having been born perfectly healthy, both six-year-old Noah and four-year-old Rowan Benson-Gately were diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy earlier this year.
It's a progressive neuro-muscular disorder, which causes the body's muscles to become weak, and has no known cure.
Their mother Bianca - who's an Athlone native now living in Dysart in Roscommon - says they have a difficult road ahead, but is thanking everyone who has supported the family:
