Over €7.4 Million Announced For Housing Adaption Grants For Midlands

The grants will improve homes for older people and disabled people in the region.

Over €7.4 million in State funding is being announced to improve homes for older people and disabled people across the Midlands.

The funding is part of a €129.5 million national allocation under the Housing Adaptation Grants programme.

Over €2.6M has been allocated to Westmeath, meanwhile Offaly and Laois are set to receive over €2.4M respectively.

The funding is expected to support around 17,000 home adaptation grant claims nationwide, helping older and disabled people live independently in their homes.
