Over €16,000 has been raised for a Laois teenager following his diagnosis with cancer four days ago.

The talented 13-year-old, who plays both GAA and soccer for his local clubs, is currently receiving treatment in Crumlin Children's Hospital.

His parents say they're blown away with the support of two GoFundMe pages, with the official fundraiser due to take place next month.
