Responsible pet owners can pay pet deposits in order to keep their home - according to the owner of a Laois real estate company.
It comes as Dogs Trust Ireland reveal more dog owners are being forced to choose between their pet and their home.
They dealt with 3,000 surrender requests in 2024 - with 600 of those due to accommodation changes and with renters more likely to be affected.
