He was air-lifted to hospital in Dublin by the Aircorps.
A man is recovering in hospital after suffering two broken ankles in a fall at a Laois tourist attraction.
Emergency Services were called to the Rock of Dunamaise on Sunday morning.
It's understood the man fell 15 foot while taking photos at the historic site.
He was airlifted to Tallaght by the Aircorps helicopter a short time later where he remains this afternoon.
Many thanks to the crews @LaoisFireRescue for providing assistance.
