A decision to grant planning permission for a five screen cinema in Westmeath has been appealed to An Bord Pleanála.
Omniplex was given the go ahead by Westmeath County Council to construct the facility at the Harbour Place Shopping Centre in Mullingar recently.
However a number of appeals have been submitted against the plans by local residents.
A decision is due from the national planning authority on August 20th.
