Plans For Major Laois Housing Development Submitted

Plans are lodged for 217 houses and shops near Portlaoise's Centrepoint Shopping Centre.

Plans for a major housing development and shops have been lodged to Laois County Council for approval.

Applicants Centrepoint Partners are seeking permission to build 217 residential units, along with a crèche, restaurant, retail units, and office accommodation on the Centrepoint Shopping Centre site in Portlaoise.

The development includes duplexes and two assisted living units, with the properties made up of nine semi-detached two storey 4 bed townhouses, 37  semi-detached and terraced two and three storey 3 bed townhouses.

A decision by Laois County Council is due on March 3rd.
