Renewed Calls For Community Warden In Midlands Town Park

There are repeated reports of anti-social behaviour at the amenity.

A Westmeath councillor is renewing calls for a community warden at Mullingar Town Park.

Hazel Smyth says she's repeatedly hearing cases of anti-social behaviour and intimidation in the park.

The Green Party rep says it's important people of all ages can feel safe while using the amenity.

She's asked local gardaí about installing a community warden to patrol the area, particularly during peak times, and act as a deterrent:
