Teresa O'Reilly from Athlone was reconnected to power yesterday following the damage to an electrical line from storm Éowyn.
With a house full of people and animals, the community of Kiltoom offered their facilities.
Neighbours, schools and the church opened their doors with water, electricity and food.
Meanwhile on Sunday, Teresa's daughter was airlifted to Tallaght hospital and underwent a 3 hour surgery as a result of a horse riding accident.
