The NUJ held a rally outside the state broadcaster earlier today.
Staff at RTÉ are calling on the Government to confirm a new model of funding for public service broadcasting.
They're holding a rally in Donnybrook this afternoon on the back of a hectic few weeks at the State broadcaster.
The National Union of Journalists says the "ongoing political controversies, the carousel of allegations and counter-allegations, and the drip feed of information have left an already demoralised staff reeling."
In a statement, the union says the resignation of the RTÉ Chair, and the circumstances surrounding her departure, have added to the "sense of chaos which has engulfed the organisation."
Meanwhile Sinn Féin is underlining their doubts over RTE's financial controls and oversight.
Proper procedures at the State broadcaster weren't followed, according to the Chair of the Public Account Committee.
Laois Offaly Sinn Féin TD Brian Stanley says if such a change is made, it would make it easier for PAC to examine accounts and call witnesses:
